Open Ocean Aquaculture Engineering Workshop

In 2005 the Open Ocean Aquaculture Engineering workshop was held in Torshavn, Faroe Islands, on 14-18'th of August.

The objective of the first OOAE workshop was to establishing of network, called "The Torshavn Network". The participants are supposed to contribute to development of technology that enables the industry to move production to more exposed locations.

The following topics are of interest:

• Physical modeling
• Numerical analysis
• Fluid-structure interaction
• Environmental issues
• Biology design criteria and operational design
